Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Short version: we collect the bare minimum. No accounts, no analytics, no ad trackers, no marketing pixels. Your search text is sent to our matching service and to NVIDIA's AI API only to compute your match — not stored. The one exception: if you start a 5-day watch, we store your email + search for up to 5 days to send the alerts you asked for, then delete them automatically. Don't type personal information into the search box.
1. What we collect
- Your cabin description (processed, not stored). When you run a scan, the text you typed and the list of candidate cabin categories are sent to our matching endpoint (a Cloudflare Pages Function) and forwarded to NVIDIA's API, where an AI model (Nemotron Super 49B) computes the match. We do not store, log to a database, or profile this text; it is used transiently to generate your result. NVIDIA processes the request under its own privacy policy. If the AI service is unavailable, matching happens entirely in your browser instead and nothing is sent. Either way: never type passwords, ID numbers, financial, medical, or other personal information into the search.
- Watch mode (email + search, stored max 5 days). If you start a notification watch, we store the email address and search you submitted in our datastore (Cloudflare KV) so an automated job can re-run your search every ~5 hours and email you the result from neilbuisness1@gmail.com. Watches expire and are deleted automatically after 5 days (with a storage-level auto-delete as backstop). Per the feature's design, a watch cannot be cancelled before it expires. Emails are delivered through Brevo (our email provider), which processes the recipient address under its own privacy policy. We don't use watch emails for marketing, never sell or share them, and keep no copy after expiry. Limit: 3 active watches per email.
- Accounts: none. There is no account system.
- Hosting logs: this site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like virtually all web hosts, Cloudflare may process standard technical data (IP address, user agent, request timestamps) to deliver and secure the site. We do not access, store, or build profiles from this data. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Fonts and libraries: the page loads fonts from Google Fonts and a graphics library from jsDelivr. Your browser makes standard requests to those CDNs to fetch the files; their privacy policies govern those requests.
2. Cookies & tracking
We set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking of any kind — no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, nothing.
3. Why we collect (data-minimization statement)
Our design principle is to collect the minimum possible: the search text you actively submit (used transiently to compute your match) and, only if you opt into watch mode, your email + search for a hard-capped 5 days. Nothing else, nothing longer, no profiles.
4. Third-party sites
When you click "Book on the official site," you leave FindYourCruize and land on a cruise line's website, which has its own privacy practices. We receive nothing about what you do there.
5. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and since we collect no personal information, we do not knowingly collect any from children (COPPA).
6. Your rights (CCPA/GDPR)
California residents have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information. Because we do not collect, sell, or share personal information, there is nothing to disclose, delete, or opt out of. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. EU/UK visitors: we hold no personal data about you to access or erase. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we will investigate.
7. Changes
If we ever add features that collect data (for example, saved searches), this policy will be updated first and the change will be clearly noted on this page.
